Air conditioners work by pulling in hot air from the room, compressing it by using a refrigerant thus cooling the air, and then blowing the cool air back out. Portable air conditioners house the compressor and evaporation system in the same unit and come complete with all the accessories required to use in the room, these include Exhaust Hose, Window Fixing Kit and Drain Hose.

The Simply 11,500 AC air conditioner has a cooling capacity of 11,500 Btu or 3.4 kW, dependent on the size of the room you are looking to cool will determine the number of units required.

Top Tips:
It is important when using any portable air conditioning units that the hose is used to vent the hot air to the outside of the building and to keep all the other doors and windows closed whilst in operation.
Please do not extend the hose as it will cause the air conditioner to malfunction and make sure that it is not placed tight up against a wall as the air must be allowed to circulate.
